Many of you can't believe that Peter has lived in Calgary almost four years and has never owned a car up here. Calgary has a great public transportation network that suits his needs most of the time but there are times that he needs to run errands that really require a car. He has rented a car from time to time when he has a long way to go or a lot to transport but lately the solution he has used within the confines of the city is a Cars2Go car. Yes, he really does fit in this little smart car. Actually, both of us fit in it and have found it quite handy at times. There are about 300 of these little beauties scattered all over Calgary and if you find one and need it, you just swipe a special card in a card reader to see if it available. If it is, you just get in and drive where you need to within a certain area and then when you finished you just park it, get out, lock it and leave it for the next person. It is very inexpensive and Peter can drive it to or from the grocery for $3.00 - $4.00.
